We turn enterprise documents into controlled, actionable intelligence
AODocs is the governed document platform behind some of the most demanding compliance, engineering and finance operations in the world. Independent, profitable, and built to still be here in ten years.
Why AODocs exists
Speed and reliability stopped being a trade-off
For as long as documents have existed, going faster has meant accepting more mistakes. That arithmetic only held while checking was something a person did by hand. Bring together an interface that makes the right action the easy one, AI that reads what a human would have skimmed, and governance that decides what the AI can rely on, and both curves move the right way. That is the contradiction AODocs exists to remove.
“AODocs gives every company instant access to the right information, and every regulator the audit trail they need. Accurate, approved, always current.” - Stéphan Donzé - CEO of AODocs

What that changes for you
Unlock the value of your documents
Search, extract and act on information that used to sit locked inside files nobody could find.
Your documents, your cloud
Store files in your own cloud storage and decide where they live, how they are encrypted and who reaches them.
Automate with reliable AI
Put AI to work on approved, versioned content only, with every answer traceable to its source.

Profitable and growing
people across Europe and North America
organizations running their critical documents on AODocs
Born in the cloud, growing with AI
One conviction, held since 2012: control has to come before intelligence.
2012
The beginning
AODocs started as a document management layer for Google Drive, at a time when running critical documents in the cloud was still considered reckless. That early bet on cloud-native architecture is why the platform never had to be rebuilt.
2016
One platform, not a toolbox
Workflows, retention policies, permissions and metadata came together in a single product, so that governance stopped being something bolted on afterwards.
2019
Your documents, your cloud
Explore the platform →Customers gained the ability to keep their files in their own storage, on Google Cloud, AWS, Azure or Google Drive, and to decide where the data physically lives.
2022
Open to all
External portals, open APIs and integrations opened the platform to people outside the organization: clients, suppliers, auditors and outside counsel, without giving up control.
2024
Generative AI, on governed content
See how it works →AI arrived in the product where it belongs: on top of approved, versioned, validated documents. Not a chatbot bolted onto a file share, but answers grounded in a single authoritative source.
2025
Business Agents
Discover Business Agents →Agents that do not just answer questions but carry work forward, inside the same governed foundation.
2025
Microsoft, natively
AODocs for Microsoft →Native integration with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Embedded, so organizations no longer have to choose between the tools their teams use and the control their auditors need.
2026
Knowledge Management, packaged
Governance stopped being something each customer had to assemble. Knowledge Management arrived as a solution rather than a set of building blocks: the document structure, the workflows and the AI already configured for teams whose answers have to be right the first time.
2026
Capital Projects, packaged
Energy and construction brought a requirement the platform had to grow into: thousands of drawings, dozens of contractors, and a single approved version that every field team must be able to reach. Capital Projects packages that discipline for the industries where a wrong document costs a shutdown.
What we are like to work with
Every company writes a values page. Here is what ours actually looks like from the inside, including the part most companies leave out.
We question ourselves, out loud
The platform has been rebuilt more than once because a customer requirement showed us the current design would not hold. That is uncomfortable, and it is the reason a product started in 2012 still meets requirements written in 2026. Teams here are expected to say when something is not working, early, rather than defend it.

The largest projects and the smallest ones
Some customers run hundreds of millions of documents across a dozen countries. Others are a forty-person team that needs one process under control. Both get the same platform and the same attention. We have never built a cut-down edition for smaller customers, and we have never told a large one that something was out of scope.

We are measured on your project, not on our licence
A signed contract is the start of the work, not the end of it. Deployments are followed by people who care whether the thing actually went live, whether the teams adopted it, and whether the numbers moved. When a project stalls, that is treated as our problem to solve.

Further than satisfaction
Customer satisfaction is a survey. What we look for is the conversation that happens after it: the roadmap discussion, the awkward feedback, the call that starts with "this is not working for us". Most of what the product does today came from those conversations rather than from a market study.

A very high technical bar
Governed document management at enterprise scale is unforgiving: permissions that must never leak, versions that must never be ambiguous, audit trails that must never have a gap. The engineering standard here is set by that, not by what ships fastest. It is why the platform absorbed cloud storage, then external collaboration, then AI, without being rewritten each time.
