Pre-sales Engineer

  • In-depth technical and business need identification
  • Development of compelling proof including demo’s, POCs, etc.
  • Development of comprehensive technical solution offers
  • Creatively differentiate AODocs from other alternatives
  • Have superior technical and use case knowledge of Altirnao offerings
  • Have working knowledge of competitor technologies
  • Develop trusted relationships with account technical evaluators
  • Understand and document prospect technical and business requirements
  • Meet/exceed prospect needs for information in support of sales opportunity closure
  • Identify opportunities for account presence expansion
  • Assist sales personnel meet or exceed enterprise sales revenue plan objectives for assigned territory
  • Update, manage account information database
  • Provide accurate ongoing account activity assessments
  • Collaborate with R&D to identify and describe offering improvements
  • Collaborate with Marketing to identify and enhance messaging and positioning
  • Support Altirnao presence at F2F events


  • Minimum bachelor degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
  • 5+ years experience as pre-sale engineer in SaaS enterprise software, preferably SaaS
  • Experience with information management or related technology
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with customer counterparts
  • Proven ability to create and present product demonstrations and concept proofs
  • Strong verbal, listening, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking abilities while being detail and schedule oriented
  • Must be able and willing to travel up to 50% of the time Google Apps and Drive technical experience
  • Google Apps Engine experience a plus
  • Document management technology experience
