AODocs is excited to announce that according to Google’s Marketplace statistics, its File and Document Management Service has been installed by domains totaling more than 1,000,000 Google Apps users, making it one of the most popular applications on the Google Apps Marketplace, with a trailing year over year increase of 200%. And we see 30,000 documents added every day to AODocs.
So, why the growth? Informal surveys and conversations with our customers reveal the following insights:
(1) More and more organizations intend to leverage Google Drive as their primary content repository to benefit from the collaboration features, ease of use, and mobile access.
(2) Users left alone on Google Drive tend to create a lot of “mess” (quoting our customers’ own words) with the enterprise files, resulting in accidental data loss and critical information being hard to find.
